Call for Research Poster

IChemE will launch a new global meeting in 2008. ChemEng08 is a forum for professional engineers and scientists to debate, network, learn, engage and promote around all aspects of chemical, biochemical and process engineering. The event includes “Shared Challenges, Shared Solutions”, a research arena showcasing some of the latest developments in the discipline.

Shared Challenges, Shared Solutions

Inspired by the IChemE’s Jubilee Report, published in May 2007, this lively arena will provide a platform for contributors from industry and academia to present their current work in pursuit of sustainable process solutions to some of the 21st Century’s big challenges.

Shared Challenges, Shared Solutions will include presentations on innovative research grouped around the seven themes highlighted in the IChemE’s Technical Strategy Roadmap. Organised in poster presentation format, there maybe additional opportunities for selected posters to be enhanced with an additional ten minute “Contact Forum” oral presentation. This will be offered to work of particular merit.

IChemE anticipates that the research community will take this opportunity to present posters describing product and process innovation that demonstrates the contribution (or potential contribution) that chemical engineering is making to social, environmental and economic progress around the world. The Shared Challenges, Shared Solutions arena will be located at the heart of ChemEng08 in close proximity to the exhibition, catering and seminar areas guaranteeing a wide audience of delegates from a diverse range of backgrounds.
